Terms & Conditions

These terms govern all sales and services provided by Second Hand United Ltd (“we”, “our”, “us”).

1. Orders and quotations

All offers and quotations are subject to change without notice until confirmed in writing. Orders are only binding once accepted by us via email confirmation.

2. Products

All goods are second-hand and sold “as is.” The buyer understands that used goods may include minor defects, wear, or non-working items.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are quoted in GBP (pounds sterling) EXW Tilbury unless otherwise stated. Full payment must be received before loading. Bank transfer is the only accepted method of payment.

4. Loading and transport

We load under EXW or FOB terms. The buyer is responsible for arranging transportation, shipping, and customs clearance.

5. Risk and ownership

Risk transfers to the buyer once goods are loaded onto the buyer’s transport. Ownership transfers only after full payment is received.

6. Inspection

Buyers are welcome to inspect goods before loading. Once loaded and dispatched, goods cannot be returned or exchanged.

7. Liability

We are not liable for any indirect loss, profit loss, or consequential damage. Our total liability is limited to the value of the goods purchased.

8. Force majeure

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, transport strikes, or political events.

9. Governing law

All contracts are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled exclusively in UK courts.
